Does anyone know of a really good piantless dent removal chap in the Derby area?

Picked up a barely noticeable vertical crease on BG's drivers door after opening it on the garage door frame, it can hardly be seen, but to me, it is as if the door has been hit with a sledgehammer.

The door is aluminium, and access into the door cavity is very good.

Thanks.

It's hardly noticeable, suction pullers won't be any good as there's nowt to pull out. It needs a gentle pry barring from the inside.

Or were you avin a larf?

Sorry got the impression it was a largeish dent with the sledgehammer comment. Should red posts more carefuly... My only experince with aluminum and doors is on Land Rovers. Take the door card out and start beating it with a rubber mallet smash

I had a paintless repair to a door dent on my Focus that was caused by a certain Ford main dealer in Derby when they had it in for a service rolleyes

The chap that turned up at my work (in Nottingham) to do the repair, was Derby based, and was excellent. I've got his business card somewhere... I'll have a root around over the weekend.

From what I remember, he was a one-man band rather than a franchisee...

ETA: He was appointed by the dealer, rather than me searching him out - hence my non-recollection of his company name!

Meeja,

Any chance you can drop me the details for the dents guy you used?

Have got a dent in the NSR door of my Leon that I've been meaing to get sorted for 12 months!

Would rather use someone who's been recommended, than picking someone at random from Yellow Pages!

Thanks,
Andy

One of my neighbours (in Bingham, Nottingham) is a dent remover - a petrolhead and total perfectionist in everything he does.
If you want his contact details PM me and I'll send them. He is very very good at what he does.
Reasonable too.
(He is mobile)

The bloke hasn't turned up, so I called him, and got bullshit. Anyway, he's not coming now. I took a day off work, and stripped the Bentleys inner door panel down in advance too, to make the job easier.

ing timewasters some folks are.
