A quick search brings up that Renault Mansfield & Renault Derby are recruiting. Both are owned by Reagroup wich is owned by Renault themselves. Also AvailableCar Supermarket in Castle Donnington are recruiting.

you need to speak to a bloke called dave he is head of sales tell him that you know me (say matt who used to work at curtis and york) hes a really nice bloke!(dave not me)

Damn, really sorry to hear that it's not worked out for you Nicola.

Changing jobs in the trade can be like that, it's usually a straightforward move, but every now & then the new job is just unworkable, nearly always down to some bizzare and inflexible sales control system, or one or two complete knobbers who make life difficult for amusement or as a defence mechanism. I bet it was one or the other?

If I hear of anything, i'll let you know.

Hmm so they are. I thought Renault Resourcing was for Renault owned stuff. Apparently its for all Renault dealers. Are you just looking for work in a dealership?

The Sales system was great ..... til you sold a car, I sold two last Saturday, since then my life was made a nightmare, I was overly pushy, brash and should be "jumping" on customers (how you can "jump" on a customer when it takes you about 3 mins to get to them is behond me).

The main problem was being accused of bullying, it was getting serious as well, before anyone asks no I didn't bully anyone, a 43 year old woman apprantely couldn't sleep at night through a 19 year old girl saying her 16 year old Vauxhall Cavalier was an "old knacker" as a JOKE.

Literally the whole dealership was ganging up on me!!! I was accused of not doing pitch work when I was the only one out in the rain moving and putting prices in the cars.

So a bit of both really!

Thanks, looks like I will be able to attend the midlands Christmas meal after all!!

Motorpoint at Derby also came up in the search as recruiting. I am currently beta testing a Job Portal search engine for a mate which currently searches about 30 of the biggest Job sites. Monster, Fish4, Jobserve etc.
