Well done, you really showed me didn't you. Yes your new RX8 can keep up with a 13 year old TVR. Congratulations, have an award or something to let everyone know what a hero you are. Or rather what a complete and utter knobend you are.

Hanging 3 feet off someone's arse in good conditions and daylight is ing stupid at the best of times; to do it in the dark, freezing mist and damp tonight was just plain suicidal. But well done, you finally got the message that I wasn't keen to indulge your deathwish when I slowed down to 20mph and you finally used the longtime empty outside lane to overtake.

But do me a favour will you: next time you get the urge to prove what a man you by killing yourself just wrap yourself around an accommodating lamppost and leave me out of it.

Sounds like he wont have it for long. Just hope he indulges his death wish without involving anyone else.

Gets my vote! laugh

Sounds like a complete tosser, what do these chavy dickheads think they have to prove!? "oh yeah mate, my rx8 is fast as f00k. Raced a tvr, had 150 out of her..." yadda yadda.

Probably some young lad whose gone into loads of debt to buy it and will write it off through driving like a knob. Therefore adding to the cost of everyone else's insurance in the process. GRRRRRRRRRRR

Do I take it you (well your better half), have rejoined the TVR fold. scratchchin
You want to get it booked in for my subtle paperbag exhaust mods, I find being able to pop out foot long flames pretty much at will scares the living daylights out of tailgaters. hehe

but if I remember correctly you always were a bit slow through Annesley By-Pass

Indeed we have. Lucky chance meant we could get Tracy's old car back. Have to tell me more about the exhaust mods evil though I need to get the decat pipes for the Ferrari fitted first.

tongue out

Or maybe it was just that I didn't have your reckless optimism when at the helm if a TVR wink Anyhow I know the lines a lot better now so I'm not so embarrassingly slow biggrin That said I'm not stupid enough to tailgate someone on an empty dual carriageway under any conditions...

To be honest at the moment in the current conditions I'm a bit 'driving Miss Daisy' through there, the car shaped holes in the fence are becoming a little to common, roll on summer. driving
The exhaust is the full De-Cat which it has been for a while, but it's now straight through at the centre box as well, so nothing in the way of silencing. paperbag

Came round that final corner a week or so ago to find a car upside down on the rhs verge. In exactly the same place I helped a chap out of his upturned car about 10 years ago eek

The only way I can think that they do this is come round that corner a bit too quick, hit the brakes, bounce off the left hand verge and head for the right hand verge completely out of control and end up sunny side down. Not good. nono

So happy to have the toy back though cloud9
