Hey guys as soom of you know I have just got rid of the Charger after a very dissapointing 3 months with it. So I am on the look out for something that suits me better.

Basically I want something unique for less than £80,000 that preferably 2 seater and possibly a convertible.

Still have the Gallardo kicking around so I want something that is totally different to that as well.

Currently thinking of a Spyker, AMV8 or possibly a Lotus.

Definatley out of the equasion at the minute are Ferrari`s and American cars(sorry Ian).

Lol, just had a conversation with the Tea Boy about TVR`s, and with my ability to make cars not work I think a TVR would be a definate no as well. However it may well be on the list as a spare carsmile for the track.

The world is pretty much your oyster at 80k. So many cars to choose from at that range.

Brand new Exige S for 43k and get something else convertible?

Yes I know its a yank and has leaf spring suspension, but still.

Stunning car

Don't like Porsches by principle, but these are brilliant, well besides the engine being in the wrong place of course.

V12 into the Kia?
Like I said earlier, I'd be going for something really unique like a Spyker.

How about the new HSV maloo http://www.hsv.com.au/index.asp. I might be bringing one over in the summer, currently have the older model but its going in march. If you get the harrop supercharger and wortek remap you can quite easily reach 600bhp in a pick up wink

If you want something contrasting to the Gallardo - what about a Sagaris?!

I know its a TVR, but if you ask the Sag/T350 owners, I think they'd put your mind at rest RE build quality etc.

Besides, you'd have loadsa change left from 80k anyway - to fix it should the worst happen....

A frogeye - complete with £72,000 change

The perfect fun car for the Gatso generation

Everyone loves it, gets as much attention as a supercar

60 mph feels like you are doing 180 with your arse on fire !!

No depreciation

Cheers

I'll be selling my S2000 in a couple of months, if that helps?

Pop a supercharger on it and you've c.350bhp at the crank without too much stress, and a very capable, well-balanced rwd chassis. Oh, and a good 'leccy soft-top.

wink
(OK, I'm sure that £80k will find something much nicer...but I had to plug!)

Well lots of ideas, but im gonna rule out BMW`s and Porsches cos they are too common. Also I think the HSV will be too similar to the Charger. Also gonna rule out the Audi R8 because misse went out in one last saturday and she said it was sh1t.

However i do like the look of the Sagaris so could bea possibility and I also like the idea of having a frogeye raceseries so that is also an option.

As for the Marcos it did cross my mind but again reliability issues could be a problem as too it could be with an Ultima.

Weisman GT looks a nice car but i knowabsolutely nothing about them.

However the Cobra Rob has seen does tempt me a lot and is definately on the maybe list.
