Most hotel tv systems have numerous channels, otherwise in the sports gambling part of the Luxor for one, I would imagine it would be on one of the display tvs there.

The luxor has a a big 'sports book' like our bookies with 24-7 sports on TV as do all the hotels. If its not on in your hotel the Hotel Concierge is usually veru usefull and will point you the right way.

Gambling is only one part of Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience is worth popping to one evening it’s a massive TV a block long! I only went for 20 mins or so but well worth it just take a cab from the strip.

You should get a coupon book at check in with a deal for a shooting range and money of the monorail. Well worth using the monorail to get an idea of the whole place from end to end.

The Sahara has a NASCAR ride, shop and cafe with a few cars in. New York New York has a good ride too. The stratosphere tower is good also. You can spend days on the strip alone if you wish

Other than that hover dam and Grand Canyon are not a million miles away.

A few years back $45 bought a 10 minute helicopter flight over the strip (i.e High Street), takeoff is from a parking lot at the side of the strip so it's easy to find. It felt like 3 minutes, but was easily worth it for the views.

We have been every year since 2000 to Vegas, it's superb. I have been 12 times in all.
Do the Grand Canyon helicopter experience. See my photo on the California thread. You take off from nearby Boulder City for most of those trips.
(Coach from Vegas).
Walk the strip at night, it's great.
Yes, do the Hoover Dam.
Have fun and watch out for people selling you timeshare in the new blocks being built everywhere.

I went to Vegas two years ago for a wedding, and stayed at the Luxor. Spent £££££ gambling into the night. Im going again on October 15th.

Go to The Mix bar on the 64th floor of The Hotel at Mandaley bay at night and enjoy the view.
