Nottingham Raceway Karting Reviews

Hi, I was wondering has anyone here ever been to Nottingham Raceway Karting before, if so what’s it like? As I've been to F1 indoor Karting recently and I've got bored of going there as most of the lap you’re just sat on the limiter. The main things I want to know are:
1. Are the karts limited and if so do you sit on the limiter much
2. Are the karts fast enough that you have to slow down for the corners (Unlike F1 indoor Kating)

wheres nottingham raceway? i know of Amen corner, thats a pretty good circuit!!

If you want a good challenging (outdoor) track in the Midlands, have a look at: www.suttoncircuit.co.uk

You definitely need to use the brakes!

I find your comments a little strange as the limiter as you call it only kicks in at one point on the circuit. The use of brakes - well most karters find them unnecessary surely high speed cornering is what you want.I challenge anyone to take our hairpin at full throttle however.

Unfortunately you have to respect the fact that most of our customers are not experianced karters and whilst I would love to run the karts without 'governors' it is simply not viable under today's legislation. We have, what I believe to be one of the best indoor tracks in the uk and I been to most of them.

If you want to have a bit more grunt to your karting I would suggest you try stretton, they run twin engine karts on a good outdoor circuit.

Don't write us off though I will be having a new fleet of karts in september/October, its always fun to try and set new lap times with a new fleet.
