HI guys
Just to let you know as speakers secretary to a local Rotary Club -I have arranged for the legendary Norman Dewis (jaguar Test Driver and Development Engineer 1952 to 1987 ) to visit our Rotary Club on the evening of Tues 3 June in Stafford, Tickets from me at £15.00to include two course meal. Norman drove the XK120 at Jabbeke in Belgium at 187mph, developed the disc brake on the Jaguar C type and competed in the Mille Miglia with Stirling Moss, developed the D type, E type and XJ6 and all Jags up to 1987 . He saw the takeover by Leyland and demise of the British Car Industry.I have heard him speak before and he is a brilliant speaker with a photographic memory.
Other Piston heads will be in attendance but I do have a few tickets left .
