Diamond Coat/Glaze ??? etc
Discussion
All - one of my mates has just had a car expensively resprayed and is thinking of having something called diamond coat/glaze ??? applied to it - supposed to last for several years or whatever.
I seem to recall reading stuff on PH which implied this was NOT a good idea = any of you care to comment? Warren - have you come across this stuff?

ks, sorry, but it is.Get the cosovans to do it for a couple of quid every week, it'll be fine. Or better wash it and buy a decent wax that'll last a month or two..

I disagree....it depends whether you have the time to wax your car. If you don't, then get it as the finish is pretty good with a quick shampoo and leather. I've applied wax to one half of the car for a comparison and, tbh, whilst I could notice the difference, most people wouldn't.
ks, sorry, but it is.If we lived in a sunnier climate then I wouldn't bother but take a good look out of the window.....

Buy some Collinite 476, that wax lasts 6 months as long as it's looked after!
I'd second the Collinite, but I'd go for the 915 over the 476.Buy some Collinite 476, that wax lasts 6 months as long as it's looked after!
Either way, Collinite waxes are made to stay put
