Friends ....

We all know that Nicola's midget is doomed, as last night she uttered those fateful words "This one's a keeper!!"

So I hereby start the sweepstake on how long it will last:

I am thinking Feb-March 2009. I realise this is a long time for Nicola to keep a car but I reckon "This ones a keeper" is worth an extra couple of months smile

I'll take April '9, then.

Blimey - that does seem a long time. Could be better to go for November '8.

I reckon it will be gone by October 08.

She'll definately not be driving it to BTaP hehe

Not because she doesn't like it, or because it fails her, just from driving it in adverse weather conditions and getting wet, and because it is slow.

I think you are all being really mean!

Why would Nicola want to get rid of a such useful vehicle, what with its ability to double as garden furniture and all:

October 23rd at 3.47pm, it will be paid for in cash and will be taken away by a nice older bloke in his late fifties who will be being driven by a mate of similar age in a burgundy red 1992 BMW 520i automatic. They would have come round in said mates 'B' to collect it, but it wouldn't start due to damp in the distributor, or maybe the coil, or maybe an HT lead had failed, anyway, they came in the Bimmer and took it away.

ROFL I'm telling you all THIS ONE IS A KEEPER!

hehe You'll all just have to wait and see, actually doubt I'll be changing it due to a number of reasons

a. I'm going to uni in September and doubt I'll beable to sell the Midge and get anything better (it ain't fast but has bags of character and 70 feels like 160 in a Porschewink)
b. After all the trouble I've had buying this one I really can't be bothered for a while.
c. The only cars I'm interested in to swap it for (in a sensible budget) are - 944, 944 turbo, BMW M3 either E36 or a really, really tatty E30, a mint E30 325i Sport, a MGB GTV8 or a TVR Wedge and the Midge is really cheap to insure, not really good but not bad either on petrol.

I've had one car that has actually been a honest keeper and that was the only car that didn't go out of choice .........

Valied point but what car would I get?! Keeping in mind it would have to be RWD, no more than two doors, no hatchbacks, OK, OK it'd be a BMW!

I'm no good with finances hehe have a few jobs (well my own work but hey ho) to keep me through uni(I think lol) and I will be living at home so don't have to think about accomodation etc. biggrin

Midgie is a stayer no one will believe it til they see it, can't blame 'em!

But how do we know she still has it? Was a rather poor excuse for Tuesday. hehe

I think Warren knew something we didn't.
