Anyone own a Blue 840i around Rugby?

Parked up in Sainsburys car park in the right of 3 empty bays, when walking back to my car I see a nice BMW 840i parked in the left hand space slightly over the white line.
Just as I am getting in my car, some bloke turns up in a Megan- & had the pick of the whole car park, but decided to squeeze into the space between my Toyota & the BMW...
The bloke seemed to be having a bit of a 'mare getting it in the space, so whilst he is contemplating his next manouver- I make a move for it out of my space & leave the car park.
I must have drven about half a mile towards that massive roundabout in the centre of Rugby when I get overtaken by this Megan- in a 30 zone, closely followed by the 840i right up his arse!
I could only assume he has scraped the side of the 840
Why do people do this? I go out of my way to park in a secluded spot- then when I return, someone is parked up next to me in a half empty car park! It drives me insane!
Oh and nyone know what was going on with all the Cortinas today? Some nice Fords knocking about including a blue & white MK1 Escort on Forrest arches
Everytime I drive past Stratford, there seems to be nice cars everywhere- last time it was a bunch of Capri's
