Hi All,

I've not seen any thread relating to the next PH Warks meet, so thought I'd get one started. The first Tuesday of October is the 7th. Usual meet time of 19:30.

Last time out the meeting was held at the Red Lion in Hunningham. Does that still have the thumbs up, or is it back to Berkswell?

Have a chat amongst yourselves and let us know in the thread which you prefer.

Hope to see you there. smile

Matt

Boo to the crappy winter daylight hours..

seeing as by next week it'll probably be dark by 6:00pm, I'll endeavour to pop along in the better half's Leon rather than on the bike..

I'll be there, although it's month-end so I may be a little late.

And the Red Lion was a good venue, so I think stick with there this month.

Martin/Piers,

It wasn't the "cheap" one that I'd been considering. It's a 55 plate from a main dealer, so comes with the backup of a 12 month full warranty etc. biggrin It was reasonable and I consider the deal I got to be a good one. Pics will follow after the weekend as it needs a proper clean before I take any shots.

Feel free to pop in anytime for a gander and you're both welcome to have a go. smile

Same old Matt!!! biggrin

I bet the car was near-spotless when you bought it anyway, 'least by our standards.

55-plate. Last of the E46's then?!? Not a CS, is it?

Oh, and please tell us it's a manual and it's on 18"s not 19"s...I'll forgive you grey or silver as most are those colours, but not the rest!

Anyway, congrats. I'm only slightly jealous...but at least we've got you back on the right fuel! wink

Martin,

It's silver grey and a manual on 18's. Thought you might approve! It really needs some 19's though! wink LOL

Great news Matt.

I'll be there on Tuesday too. As OP you get the final say as to the venue.

Chris

Just bring yourself for a chat and some introductions, I might not be in the TVR either. It's dark too early for any car park inspections anyway.

Hi Duncan,

Well it's got to be the Red Lion at Hunningham really. Seems to be the favourite current venue.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Warning - the map isn't the easiest to read, and SatNavs don't like the postcode.

Directions:
Southbound - pick up Fosse Way. One junction after the A423, turn right at the jn between the white houses. Pub is 3/4 mile down on rhs before the bridge

Northbound - pick up Fosse Way. One (give-way) junction after the Southam-Leamington road roundabout, turn left when facing the two white houses.

Alternatively, from north Leamington take the Princethorpe Road, then JUST before the Bull pub turn right. Pub is 1/2 mile down just after bridge.
