Hi all,

I'm new to the city (University) and I was wondering how many PHers there are nearby? I have already seen a fair few different Lotus Elise Mk2's tootling about, unsure if they belong to anyone on here.

So who is from Lincoln, and what do you drive?

i live on doddington park, drive a silver 08 VW passat estate, it's only got 105 ponies and i'm sure they should be shot for being half asleep!
got me and a mate to le mans this year with two pushbikes strapped to the back and a ton of clothes, beer and camping gear and more beer.

you'll know it's mine when you see it as i've written '42' in the dirt on the back, i'm not 42 BTW.

oh and i'm not going to clean it either cos:-

A: it's a company car
B: it's st slow
C: i can't be bothered
D: i'm on a water meter
E: it'll only get mucky again
F: it's st slow
G: it's silver and i wanted black
H: i wanted the 170BHP version NOT 105BHP
I: we're comming up to winter and it'll get covered in salt and st
J: i REALLY CANNOT BE BOTHERED!
K: i can't think of another reason to wash it, if you can then post all replies on here

There is another classic Golf that drives around the lower part of town a lot, I haven't seen yours yet though. Will keep an eye out, i'm sure it would be easy to see/hear!

or
'James, i mean jim, sorry jon, please clean me'
or
'i'm off dogging, beep if you are too'

LOL

Fairly sure I have seen your Golf about Jimnotjon, there is also a fairly tidy looking silver one doing the rounds that I think is around the same sort of age as yours. (VW's are not my strong point)

The silver one I think your refering to is a Mk1 with a G60 in it. Chap called Paul. It makes mine look like an old shed. Do you have a PH sticker on your car? Will try and spot you.

Norbury, I spoke too you ages ago cant actually remember why it was some pointless topic. But im from Lincoln and currently have a nice Gallardo SL. Im always lurking near the Anchor Pub on high Street. So if you see it around there I will be in the pub having a coke. As for being a student at the Uni, I was one of the first and I made it the way it is today. smile

Haha, I remember that. I'm impressed that I have my own train station!

Gallardo SL, wow! I'm sure that if you were driving anywhere around Lincoln in that I would hear it from my room hehe I will have to start taking trips up to the pub with my camera - always been especially fond of Lamborghinis more than any other supercar maker.

Ah ok, will keep an eye out at any rate.

Went out on sunday and saw a new-shape Porsche 911 Turbo (owned by a fellow named Brett) grounding the front of his car while leaving one of the car parks. Also saw a red F430 parked up near the Cathedral.
