Said bye to the Midgie this morning and think I've made a mistake, though I have enjoyed Midgie it is just not practical (size wise lol and other things), MGB GT could be so could another '44 or a BMW 2002.
Will the White Whale last the week out?
So far thinking either get a cheapish sports car and keep the White Whale for everyday, sensible but since when have I been sensible?? Nah, I'm going Porsche / MG / Classic BMW hunting
My list is something like so -
Porsche 944
Porsche 924S (well it's a 944 when all said and done! Apart from no flared arches)
MG B
MG BGT
BMW 2002
BMW E21 323
BMW E30 325i Sport Coupe
Just finding the right car now

LOL that means I've got to bye another Midget or people might think I'm a Midget or something... may go back to Porscha! if I buy one of those, keep lmg if I stick with MG but if I go Classic BMW will have to keep midgetgem 'cos nothing with BMW in sounds good! Don't want to advertise the fact I am a BMW driver either

November 2008.
What do I win?

Find me my next car first and I MIGHT consider you winning something
Subject to the next being a keeper.

That TVR looks gorgeous though don't think I'm ready to kill myself yet....

Seemed about right from the list of cars.littlemidgetgem said:

Half right.
That S is gorgeous
, but contrary to the uninformed view not all TVRs kill you whenever you get in them! It is slightly possible that you might kill it, but that is not a definite either.

Anyway, here's a vote for an 02 bemmer of any engine size. There are indeed some good ones here

I would have said avoid the Tourings 'cos i don't think they're quite as good looking, but that 'car of the week', concours, with a 5 speed 'box which would make the car so more useable, that seems a cracking bu. I liked the Dec 72 car in white advertised further down the list too, though the ads don't seem to indicate what's been sold or not.Very '70's...

or
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C44675 .... needs some period alloys puttng on it, but you can use the ones on it for the E39!

Thanks love that M535i but hate those alloys on it, could always put them on the 520 though
