Suggested Date: Sunday 28th December 2008
Time: 10.00am
Start Location: Amber Hotel, Oakerthorpe

(All subject to change as discussion commences hehe)

Its getting towards that time of year again folks. Turkeys are in fear for their lives and Slade get their pensions topped up.

Format for the run is the same as last year. Leave your P&J snug in the garage and turn up in your daily driver / shed etc for a blat round the hills. Gallardo's, 911's, TVR'S and other fast exotica are very welcome to join in but you have to stay at the back!

So who's up for a post turkeyfest run?

Count me in, don't know what I'll be driving though, as we don't have any sheds on the fleet since the 'woo died.

Of course, as it's my 46th birthday, maybe I can ride in someone elses shed so I can have some pop at the lunch stop.

Are we going to have a proper route planned in advance?

Pretty much a ring round the pennines. Several people commented on the shortness of the run last year so I thought I would make it a bit longer! PH is screwing up my link so cut and paste the link in to your browser.

How time flies. Nearly a whole year gone and I haven't got out to any meets frown
I still have the old ebay banger so might try and turn up to this one. Make it my annual PH outing.

Phoenix - Nottingham's Captain Slow, only without the hair.

Oh cock! just noticed the proposed date. Will not be able to make it if the weather is dry

I reckon Ben should bring his Micra. Its a daily driver and thats what this run is about. Warren is quite welcome to come for a waft in the Jag.

I will bring the Micra then, sod it! I just preferred the option of total abuse of a hire car so at least my daily driver would still be able to drive each day after the run out rofl

I think it was supposed to be me & Kier last time, but I had that stupid wristwatch cell phone and couldn't talk to him to check on the route when I was up front hehe

It was all a bit rushed last time which is why I posted well in advance this time. I will endevour to test drive the whole route before the run although its very simmilar to classic car run I did in the summer. I may even go so far as to produce some tulip diagrams to confuse the uninitiated wink

Good day shopping in Nottingham on Sunday was it?! Saw your beast parked in Hockley and clocked the number pretty quick.

Work shifts permitting I quite fancy this as would be great to actually meet some of you in the flesh. Will check shifts and family commitments first though.

Count me in biggrin

God only know what car I will have, if I don't spend too much on a fun car and can keep the BMW, I'll be in the legend that is the White Whale! biggrin

Otherwise currently I think it could be return of the '44 time.......

Will be good this year hehe and will not speed...smile
