Rugby Borough Council - Rubbish Collection.
Discussion
So that's it then, under the excuse of being friendly to the environment, RBC will be collecting rubbish fortnightly!
Not only that but they are now going to give us a 3rd bin to store somewhere. so now we have a blue lid bin for plastic, cardboard, cans, food packaging; a green bin for garden stuff (but no soil) that you also now have to use for cooked and uncooked food; and a third, black bin, for all other stuff.
I also assume that we can't have plastic bags in the green bin therefore all the food that will be put in there will rot for 2 weeks, sticking to the bin (need to give a call to them to confirm that though). That's going to smell lovely in the garage when (if) we get hot summer days.
Is that just Rugby or the whole of Warwickshire is affected?
Madness...
PS: Have they actually invested in recycling facilities or is it still going to landfill but they're doing it "to train us" anyway?

Have this in certain part of nottingham too but in summer they did increase the black bin collection.
