I have driven S2000 in the snow, well an ice / snow storm in Texas.
Don't recall it being that bad, and the LSD got me up the slippery driveway in the end, although there were a few 'not sure if I am going to get this thing moving again' moments when I had to stop at lights and such (roundabouts are very rare over there).
The BMW was chosen mostly because its not my liability!

I *so* wish I hadn't left changing my old worn out tyres until I was so desperate I just accepted the same (BF Goodrich G-Force Profilers) recommendation from my local tyre fitters again, only 3 weeks ago.
Great "normal" tyres but my Legacy would have been spectacular instead of merely "useful" today if I'd bought some Winter tyres.

Well, I have a right 'comedy of errors' selection to choose from in the morning:
Astra VXR; I've not worked out how the TCS switches off (on loan from GM fleet)
BMW 118d (my company car)
S2000 (my private car)
ETA: Hello Red Cabbage, it's John here (you've seen me in Silver BMWs prior to now, the 330d then the Z4)

S2000 (my private car)

Looking tricky for you tomorrow, best get the Integra out.
Oops...and the S2000's still at the front of the drive...so the question is how much will/won't it freeze?!?In all honesty there's only a couple of inches here...once again Cov doesn't get hit as bad as elsewhere...should be fine. How do other places look???

I remember your what car dilemma and the Z4. Didn't you have a S2000 in the US?
Get yourself over to one of our meets again, we have been at a new venue for a few months - details are usually posted in this forum.

I did indeed, the only car I've ever owned 'twice' so to speak!
Am hoping to go to Phil's D&D this week, will keep eyes on the forum for other meets too

John - The Astra's TCS can be switched off by holding the SPORT button in for about 5secs... although I'd suggest you leave it alone as it's chassis needs the electronic assistance to make forward progress!Astra VXR; I've not worked out how the TCS switches off (on loan from GM fleet)

My own comedy of errors for this weather is:
Focus ST (company car with cr*p tyres. Luckily it has stability control, which has been triggered more in the last week than ever before in it's life)
Mazda MX5 (wife's car and a nightmare in adverse conditions)
Ariel Atom (play car, hasn't seen the light of day for a week or so!)
