All, I've heard a LOT about this meeting (hundreds of interesting vehicles there every time!), but it's taken me until now to find the 2009 dates. I hope the organisers don't mind me posting this, but I've missed out on this so many times (as have friends), that I thought the info needed sharing amongst the PH locals!

I attend regularly. A great mix of bikes and cars, Vintage classic and modern. It is well worth the effort and right on Birmingham's doorstep.

Keep an eye open for the Blue Marcos Mark and say hello

Well done Mark couldn't bring myself to type that or work out how to post the PDF.

We've been quite a bit but not for some time as we're never sure when the meets are. Used to go to the Royal Oak on the A3400 too. Good friendly relaxing meet and a wide variety of cars and bikes on display. Free entry too (or was last time I went). No restrictions on arrival or depart times so very flexible for everyone.
I've posted on the local TVR forum as a number have attended in the past, but maybe didn't know the dates either.

A quick bump up the charts... next meeting is this weekend (SUNDAY 8th 11am). Anyone fancy a run out?? Weather forecast for the week looks a bit varied, so fingers crossed for a break by the weekend.

I didn't go but heard that the H&S boys have shut this down. The chap that has been running this for years has said he has quit so not sure if/when/where it may resurface.
Shame as it was a friendly meet with a wide variety of machinery and a lot of it too.
Ashby Folville is just too far midweek for us southern midlanders.

This meeting was moved to the Rose and Crown pub next to the M42 junction 3 island on April 5th. It was a good turn out considering the confusion over location change. heard from people there that it will be at the Rose and Crown for future meets. Is anybody able to confirm this?

I was diverted to the Rose and Crown and told that it would be there in future (although the organisation will need to better if the full compliment of cars turns up). I was told that the field beside the pub would be open to cope with numbers but it was not open when I arrived which filled up the car park and only a few cars ventured into the field when it was eventually opened. Many cars that turned up later(including quite a few regulars)took a look, turned around and drove off. The pub did not seem to be prepared for their car park being full of cars and people. They did eventually lay out their carvery but it was tucked round the corner and I did not see anyone using it

I am sure that this was a hastily arranged alternative venue and thanks to those who made the effort to lay something on. It has real potential and can only get better.

I will be going again.
