I fitted my own, simple job (getting the paint match good was harder than the electrics), but you/your electrician may have difficulty if using the feed from the reverse lights if your car has automatic sensors for bulb failure

Cheers

There is an auto electrician down on the swan island heading towards tysley.

Its not a difficult job but you may need to use a relay off your reverse light as I think you power is ecu monitored.

Yeah something like that, or it will power them and one of the two items off that spur will turn off. You could end up with the beepers working and no light or a light and no beepers.

If you spur off them and take a feed from the battery direct to a relay that will be fine.

This is not recommended but take the power feed from the fag lighter and the feed for the relay from the gearbox switch. It will work fine but you will have you fag lighter as the fuse for the reverse kit.

OR I am sure that SAAB sell a retro fit kit, failing that get a halfords kit which is fairly plug and go

Something like this http://www.parkingsensors.co.uk/dolphin_audio_reve... but where it comes from the reverse light you may need to relay this point, I would try it first and see if you are indeed OK.
