Any very Basic Car Maintenance courses in Bham?
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I've looked at AceT's thread, and that course sounds perfect for me - very basic then going into intermediate - hell I don't even know how to change a tyre and don't really fancy learning via trial of fire!
I'd love to be able to service my car myself, and want to have the knowledge to be able to avoid expensive repairs by keeping it well maintained (it's only a crappy Agila, but the next car I buy I'm hoping will be a bit snazzier!)
Unfortunately I've looked at what Bham council are offering (which is pretty much diddly squat) and just find it really hard to believe that there isn't a course relatively nearby that would fit.
I can't do a full time course (as I have to work), but may be able to do a daytime course perhaps.
Please - does anyone know anywhere local-ish which might be running any course like this?
I'd ask my Dad, but he's over 80 and although he's generally serviced most of his cars, he just can't do what he used to and is perhaps less confident with newer cars (ie anything build in the last 15 years!)
