Wheel Refurb

My wheels could do with a bit of work, the previous owner curbed them a little. Anyone got any recommendations within the Midlands area, I'm over Sutton Coldfield way.

I used the Nottingham branch of this company:

I was delighted with the results. One valve was faulty though so keep an eye on that.

Laptab in Brum have a good rep. Not used them myself but heard a lot of good feedback.

i used them a few years ago they gave great service and finish, but at the time you had to remove the tyres before dropping the wheels off which can be a pain, not sure if that still applies now though

I used a powder-coaters just behind the Blues ground...Sweeney & Sherlock.

They did a very good job for less than LapTab wanted, plus they were more accomodating - I found LapTab had developed an 'attitude' towards customers (basically "do it our way or not at all...these are the colours we do, tough if you don't like them"). Colour-match to the ITR's light-anthracite was very close...not quite perfect, but not bad at all, and miles closer than any of LapTab's options.

My R32 wheels go off to Lepsons in Swindon (erm South Midlands biggrin) at the weekend - so depending on when you are looking to get them done I will have a recent review (PS they were in the Pistonhead Hall at the PH Show in January)

Well, got my R32 wheels back from Lepsons in Swindon yesterday, here are a few pictures in the Sparkle Silver finish that I chose. As you can see they were returned in as new condition perfectly balanced, no paint to obstruct the bolt or hubs - Top Job - just need to find the new centre caps I bought a while back.
