Usual bi- weekly meet, Tuesday 16th ???

There is a pub meet at The Black Lion, Main Road, Radcliffe upon Trent, Nottingham, NG12 2FD. Early evening onwards.

Organised by the Bentley Drivers Club, to celebrate the Bentley victory at Le Mans in 1929. There will be lots of Bentleys, and a film show with archive footage. Apparently there is a specific link with the pub and Radcliffe and all will be revealed on the night

Anyone else fancy it?

Hi there, at the last meet we turned up at Starkholmes to find the pub was closed so we had to change venue that evening and went to The Plough Inn, Matlock Road, Brackenfield and we were made most welcome. The car park is good and there are lovely views if the weather is good enough to go outside. We mentioned at the time about have the next meet on 23rd June (still two weeks away from Classic meet at White Hart). I will post this as a separate thread at the weekend, but just thought i would mention it.

Don't think I will be able to get on 16th as Escort is out of action at the moment and due to be fixed tomorrow eve, part availability permitting.

Ah, well that's where I lived, not actually Miami. You can check out my old apartment if you want, Hillsboro beach condo block, near Lighthouse point, 1st block on the right after the bridge, heading North, between the sea and the intracoastal. Later moved to a house at the south end of the Fort Lauderdale strip. Say Hi to all at Gary Fronrath Chevrolet, not that they would remember me from 80-81.
