Hotel Wanted - Country House hotel in Peak District

[London GT3]

I need a really comfortable and beautifully located hotel in the Peak District for three nights in late July, early August.

No unnecessary frills, but excellent food, service and location is an absolute must. Somewhere to relax. Decent size suite required.

Probably a "family run" establishment with 12 or so rooms rather than a hotel with 40 rooms.

Any suggestions?

The Cavendish Hotel in Baslow is unbeatable (in my opinion), very smart and classy but with a down to earth and informal attitude. www.cavendish-hotel.net
