I need the front of my Sag re-doing with either paintshield or ventureshield.
Can anyone recommend someone around the Midlands who does a good job and ideally likes to talk cash?

Cheers,
I spoke to Tom at Paintshield earlier. He has a very good repuation but is VERY expensive when compared with other companies which fit the same paint protection film. He's based in Peterborough.

I have a couple of other companies who will do the same job for about 1/2 the price.

Just to reiterate, I'm not slating Paintshield in any way - Numerous customers have sung their praises, they are just very expensive compared to their competitors.

smile

Whoever you use get them to give you the physical kit dimensions (at both widest points) when doing a price comparison to ensure you are on a like for like basis smile

And ask to see their insurances.

Did you get the fim off OK? oh if you get someone to do a cash job (we cant unfortunately not in THAT sense anyhow) dont post who you used, there are people from every walk of life on here and you may just get them in some bother frown
Cheers
Hi Tom,
Yep - film came off great thanks - took me about 3 hours really taking my time.

So far, I've found 2 different agents working for the same company willing do do the job for £240 - £260. For obvious reasons, I will not be spilling the beans who they are! Both come very highly recommended though. Just taking my time seeing if anyone else slightly closer to home is willing to do the job for similiar money before get booked in.

Hi Lee,

I know Tom pretty well (Hi Tom) He did my sagaris front end, behind the front wheels as well as the centre bonnet,I have also had a couple of my 911's done in the past as well and one of my 350Z's by him. you are not going to get much better than him if at all. I also know Nick that owns venture shield and I hope you are ok with me saying this Tom but he is also very good.

Yep it is a journey but I would recomend you put some low tack tape on your car from now until you get it done if you have not already especially on the journey to getting it done.

I think you get what you are paid for, remember Tom did all of the origonal Sags and went to the factory to do them there so he knows what needs to be done. If you want I will meet you and show you mine, the only time it is not avaiable is Mon and Tues night as it is at a brake specialist designing some bespoke ones. (also still have some oil if you need it)

Paul......(email me if you need to meet up as I may not see this thread change)
