This afternoon I parked my car in a village market place, perfectly fine to park there.

Some one has dented my car and cracked the fibreglass on the rear bumper, not left any note with details or anything.

Only noticed when I saw the dent shining in the sun two hours later, what should have been a pleasant day has ended horribly.

Can't go to body shop to get a quote tomorrow because I've playing clarinet at someones wedding, don't even want to do that now at all, so upset and livid at the same time frown

Someone please reassure me that a decent body place will get that dent out frown

Any ideas on cost?

Thanks,
Nicola

I would take that to Paint Chip Techniques on Bottany Avenue in Mansfield. They are a great bunch that have done several jobs for me at a good price. I reckon that should be sorted for around £100.

Aaaaaw - big hug to make it feel better but no idea where to take it frown

May the person who did it have a suitably similar experience x10. No respect any more - if you bump someone you should at least own up. Annoyed on you behalf - Grrrrrr.

It's bad enough to have someone prang your pride and joy, but to drive off and not own up is the cowardly way of most people these days I fear frown My sister had her car bumped in a car park a few weeks back, the guy who did it did leave a note with his contact details on and sister's car is now being repaired under the insurance claim, but that's oh-so rare to find ..

I'm gutted for you, so soon after buying the car and being so happy about it too .. it's heartbreaking I'm sure. Hopefully one of the people mentioned above can sort it for you for minimal outlay. group hug xx
