Well ended up going with the wind and chose Indigo over in mapperley from www.fillmybelly.com and I have to say that it was really nice.

We had the special set meal for 2 at £19.95, there was 5 of us so we ordered 2 of them and for just under a tenner a head we had loads of food.

4 different starters
popperdoms with chutneys
Chicken Tikka peices
mixed kebabs
onion Bhaji
samosas

4 mains
chicken Vindaloo (not that spicey)
prawn madras
Lamb Jalfrazi
Lamb Saag

4 Pilau rice and 2 naan

The mains where full of flavor with lots of peppers, chillies and tomatos. Would order from them again but looking forward to trying Indian Nights next time.

I've never been to The Laguna but can recommend the first two highly.

Avoid the over-hyped Curry Lounge which was on Gordon Ramsey. The food was cold, bland and pretty damn rubbish when I went.

Good choice Matthew. I use Indigo too and have never had a bad meal. You need to try their Keema Matter! yum

The Shalimar in West Bridgford does it for me everytime as does the Carlton Tandoori on Carlton Road, Nottingham.

There's also an Indian Nights (takeaway only) in Radcliffe on Trent, and they are building another restaurant next to East Bridgford Garden Centre on the A46.

There's also an other one (not Indian Nights) being built on the A52 heading out of Nottingham just before the petrol station, on the left it was a Little Chef.

Neither are finished yet.

Yaadgaar (restaurant / takeaway) also very good in Radcliffe on Trent.

The Jewel (restaurant / takeaway) is also very good in West Bridgford but the last couple of times I went the service was terrible, and its a bit pricier than others.
