A Lancaster and two Spitfires.....

...flew over my head yesterday. They were flying up the Trent Valley to go to Alrewas, and I was walking back from town on the Ferry Bridge causeway, so they were right overhead. They were low too, about 500 to 1000 feet.

The Spitfire flew over my house too and back again a couple of weeks ago. Unmistakeable sound and lovely to see. Haven't seen the Lancaster for a while though.
