Can I ask all you Derbonites a question?

They have got in some cheese at this Yacht Club I'm working at and its called Derby Sage, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it?

They are also insistent that Derby is pronounced 'der-be' and not 'dar-be' as I always thought it was said.

They aren't half funny these Yanks.

The Derby Nr Liverpool is pronounced der-be.

Derby Sage? Google it, it will be easier than me trying to explain.

I might get to the Plough, but if the weather is really hot, will be working under BG instead, getting some protection wax on it. Had it up on axle stands today, painting the rear suspension components, I look like I've been down t'pit, need a bath now biggrin

Hello there, yes i have had the above mentioned Derby sage cheese. Ifits the same stuff that i had it should be a dark creamy colour with a green vein running through it. I wasn't a great fan of it, I prefer a strong smelly stilton.

Well this stuff they had in was pretty much entirely green. It still had the green veins though. It was quite mild so I assume its been tendered for an American audience.

haven't seen you all for ages, but looks like I will miss another ... damn work .....

If someone could carry out the following for me by proxy that would be appreciated ....

- wear an offensively loud shirt
- make disparaging comments about french cars & BMWs
- lecture Nic on appropriate footwear
- bait Warren into a decent rant
- talk b0110x

I've only just got back from the wildlife park so won't be there after all. I was looking forward to catching up. Drat and double drat.
