Hi Guys

Ben (Vauxmini) and I were having a chat over a beer and chinese and thought it may be a good autumn day out.

The plan would be go to the Rolling Road - either Macclesfield, Shrewsbury or may be closer to home (If I can find one) and do a power run to see what our cars are really making.

We all want to know whether the profs Saab is really making 360Nm of Torque dont we!

If it is of interest the cost is likely to be around £25-£40 depending upon numbers of attendees and where we go.

Please put your name down if this is of interest and I will call around and put some dates up. I will be taking the MR2 following some minor tweeks (post to follow).

Come signing up guys, as soon as I have 10-15 people I will contact two or three companies and see what deals we can get.

My mistake it would be Congleton and not Macclesfield....similar area smile

If its Shrewsbury I might be tempted.

People seem to get a large range out outputs from Clio 197's, so will be interesting to see where mines at.

This is still going ahead, Im just trying to get the best prices and organise a day.

Mikeanics in Congleton is the cheapest at £25

Mike Evans in Shewsbury wants £40 per run.

Howdo these things work? Do they help with fine tuning or is it just a case of seeing what it has and thats that?

Hi Matt, it would just be power runs but you get a print out and the operator will comment on the setup i.e. whether its running lean/rich etc...

Are any of the RR's you're looking at suitable for 4WD?

I will bring the landy if we get a 4wd one. I would love to see what shes doing after 250K might even drag ali along in the V8 just depends on date.

You can usally a book a tuning session but they tend not to do them for group days as they take time.
