Alloy Wheel Refurbers - Still trying to find one!?!?

Chaps,

Any suggestions for alloy wheel refurbers around the Notts/Derby area?

I've had one quote so far, but it's around £100 per wheel!

Am looking for the full wheel job however, but considered that figure a little higher than I expected.

Any recommendations?

These guys are supposed to be very good and cheaper than £100.

They've been recommended to me by several happy customers and IIRC I was quoted about £45 per wheel (18"). (waiting for Spring to have mine done)

They're based in Old Dalby, so nicely in between Notts and Leicester.

I contacted the wheel specialist and found them to be expensive - Over £300 for my 18" BMW MV alloys. Once they had my details they also kept calling and emailing me to tempt me. Their pushy approach to getting business put me off in the end.

At £50 + VAT per wheel. I took my wheels too the workshop in my van but they would have come out to me for the same price.
They did a fantastic job!! Recomend.

I used the wheel specialist in Nottingham. Made me an offer too good to refuse. They did a grand job. I think I paid somewhere in the region of £135 for all four alloys.

try Smart Alloys - they are mobile (a youngish guy) and come out to you at work or home, based in Sutton In Ashfield.

I had them do a full set of Cosworth alloys, and the finish was excellent.

Also an Audi ur quattro alloy which is a specific colour (zermatt) which they matched to perfection.

I used these guys in Nottingham - Very pleased with the work done. Pop in and have a chatt and a look at the examples they have.
I would recomend them and use them again.

Paint Chip Techniques in Mansfield comes highly recommended. Not used them yet, but will be doing so shortly.
