What is Green Luxury for 2030??
Discussion
Well Wot can i say....lol?
Ok, iam basically looking at sustainable materials as alternative luxury materials in this green directed future...? i was wondering if anyone had any comments of how the future might turn out for luxury vehicles...?
i mean we are going to a very "less is more" direction... what will happen to true craftmanship and leather, wooden trims etc...

I think the concept of what makes a luxury vehicle will remain pretty much unaltered, in terms of cabin size, ride, interior trim, toys etc. What will/may change of course is the motive power source.
For me, green luxury in 2030 will be the same as it is now, we'll just both be older

Hmm I'd say leather and wood are both green materials. After all they are both renewable, biodegradable and can be sourced locally. When I buy my Aston* it had better have leather and wood in it and not too much plastic.

Id probably agree.. Luxury will stay pretty much the same.. but what does luxury mean to the individual... what does it mean to you? Is it rolls royce, rolex watches, the next gadget or is it more...?
O yeah jus forgot... im also waitin for my Aston... well after i finish my studyies...lol

The way this country is heading, the ability for anyone to own and run a car will be a luxury in itself.
Very interesting.. i would agree to this , however the automotive industry is investing in new technologies, USA spending millions on hydrogen technology plus we are coming to the end of recession.. so they say?
