Anything happening tomorrow? Is the White Hart on? Anyone interested?

After today's hint of Spring it's worth thinking about! biggrin

I thought it had died a death, at least with PH, the last attempt was four months ago, and nearly everyone but Mike dropped out.

But I'm up for it.

I think it had a lot to do with the weather. Not much fun when it's freezing cold and/or pissing down all the time frown

But I always look at it as simply one of our regular bi-weekly meets, The White Hart and The Plough alternately, the weather doesn't affect The Plough meets confused

But then, neither of them are like the old days at Starkholmes, when there would be dozens of us.

Anyway, is anyone going?

The last few months to be honest have been a bit crap work wise for me and Judas. Nearly every day of every week since the beginning of Jan I have not been getting home till way after 7, a lot of the time nearer 8pm. This has a knock on effect to any social life; i.e. having none! The weather has been the final straw, if I do get home at a sensible time the wind, rain and snow have just sent me into hibernation mode! However changes have been made at work which has seen my impending workload reduce to not so stupid levels and getting home pre 7pm is hopefully going to be the norm again.

As a result I would like to pile along tomorrow in whatever metal you guys want to see smile

I look forward to seeing you folks again smile

You meanie!

hehe Although I am missing the bike very much, common sense dictates that not being able to use my hands to brake because they are numb would not be a good idea...

Sorry everyone, having made comment about poor numbers, I'm afraid I'm 'oot for tonight. You wouldn't want me there anyway. I started to get the first twinges of a cold last night, and by this morning it had got me, it has gradually taken hold during the day and will be in full flow in the next few hours.

This serves me right I reckon, having not caught a cold at all for the whole of last year, I commented on this last month and immediately caught one, I am now on my second for this year.

Hey folks

Firstly GWS Warren! /distance hugs

Due to only having two sets of tyres to kick and not a great deal of bks to talk, Stu, Judas and I are not going either.

Next one at the Plough on the 16th, the nights should be even lighter and hopefully more folks up for it.

The only retired local government officer that gets anywhere near my beard is my wife.

Bob's an ex-planner - the very idea!!!!!

This Bob the Planner has over wintered fairly well (even if the 43C temps where a bit hard to handle) without any proximity to the Prof's beard.

Have now moved house for autumn to get both lake and ocean views - isn't life a bcensoredtch ?
