*vacancies* Driving work - Midlands Based
Discussion
Short term (2-3 weeks), possibly longer.
As people on here are in to cars, thought I'd advertise on here.
If you can answer yes to the following questions, then this could be of use:
* Are you currently not working and can working full time for the next 2-3 weeks (Mon-Fri) and can start immediately?
* Do you live within 40 miles of Birmingham Airport?
* Are you smart, reliable, dependable and don't mind early starts?
* Are you over 30 with no more than 6 points (No D&D's sorry)?
* or over 25 with at least 3 years driving experience, no accidents and no more than 3 points?
You will be working as part of a team of 4 or 5 within the Midlands area, collecting and delivering cars.
Work is on a self employed basis. Average earnings is £300-£350 per week.
if this may interest you and you can start immediately, please email in the first instance to coxy914@me.com or pm with:

Been doing this job since November, is fun at the start its like roulete road testing but soon becomes very tedious, being stuck in traffic jams and late finishes...
be fine for 2-3 weeks but i wouldnt recomend it for much longer, plays havoc with your beer belly aswell, ive put a stone on since i started doing it just through lack of exercise lol

Very seldom do our drivers finish later than 6.
I know some companies have their drivers out till 10 or 11 at night.
Not the best way to run a company if you ask me!

didnt realise you had a minimum age... im only 22 and been doing it for 6 months
Some do, some don't. It all depends on the insurance and nature of work. Most trade plating firms only insure up to £25000 per vehicle, but we do a lot of work for Mercedes Benz which includes AMG's so we have to have insurance in place for up to £125,000 per vehicle which brings with it other restrictions including age.Coxy - are you strict on the location?
I'm up in Sheffiled which is a bit far out for Birmingham but if you have anything slightly further north?
I'm used to dealing with plate drivers etc from an organisational point of view - used to do a lot of work through car2car who are based abit further noth but have never actually done the driving work myself.
Would be interested in giving it ago if you cover this area.
Cheers
