Beckett's Farm Monthly Transport Meeting - 2010 Dates

Can a mod sticky this pls so that it doesn't get lost / repeated?

The dates for the 2010 Beckett's Farm Monthly Transport Meeting are now out. The meet takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from April to Setpember, at 6:30pm.

Exact dates:
Tues 13th April
Tues 11th May
Tues 8th June
Tues 13th July
Tues 10th August
Tues 14th September

Yes, 'tis me indeed (and it's just been pulled from the garage ready to go out tonight!) - although as it was raining when that pic was taken, I wasn't exactly smiling for the camera!!

i dont think you were smiling when you left tonight either - couldnt see though for your scalf and hat! Went went and cold very quickly

Was a shame it went cold & started to rain, bought a premature end to the night Fingers crossed for next time tho'!

Went for the first time in ages last night and it was very cold. Went when it started raining as I've just had pneumonia so didn't think it too clever getting to wet. Got home to Redditch (4 miles away) and it was dry!!

Saw a 1960's Griff on my way back from work which reminded me it was the night so wnet home, got changed, and drove back.

Got there with the top down just as it was starting to rain. Did a quick 10 minute walk round. Noticed Speedsters Atom parked up and mentally applauded him for his fortitude. Turned round and went back home. It was a good turn out despite the weather.

Despite the weather it was a decent turn out - I did spot the FFG too

I was colder standing around than driving (which people never believe!) and as FFG said, when it started to rain, I was ready to head for home... however, a couple of miles down the road the weather was markedly improved! Maybe I should have stuck it out!!

Oh well, there's always next time

I missed the Tiv chucking itself off the road. I left with Sone in his Fezza 360 and me in a black V8 Aston, I suppose it happened after we left then.

haha nice car!! knew it began with an f!! some nice cars there loved the 360 very nice in superb condition!! ditched it on the duel carriage way his back kicked and couldn't regain control was a blue T350 i think i saw it in my mirror, will ask one of the other lads who saw it better and put up the exact details. i know the police showed up just after so im guessing everybody made their way home, was a good night though, good turnout given the conditions!! i will make sure i come over and say hello to all the PHers next time!!

Yep, plan to!

Weather is always a potential issue tho', so will have to wait until the evening to see. The event always sees the 2 main car parks full of cars, so chances are it'll be a good turn out if it's not pee'ing it down!
