Hi All,

Anyone know of a good auto electrician that may be able to find out why my 2006 saab 9-3 engine management light does not work?

You might not need an auto electrician- modern cars record problems which can be read with a fault code reader. If you ask nicely the dealer might be willing to read the codes for free- it certainly wont cost them anything

As for recommendations, whatever you do, DO NOT use Classic auto electrical services on Golf Course lane. they had my car for more then 6 months, didnt fix any of the things I asked them but, aparently "it was fine when it left here". Comparing the wiring to the wire diagram showed they had missed two wires compleately for a start. Awful company. And they had the cheek to chase me for payment.

Thanks for that - I have to admit, I was only half considering getting it fixed! Ignorance is bliss (probably).

So, in your opinion, would faults still show on the readers? When I got it done a couple of weeks ago, it picked up the engine management light faulty code and that was it. I was concerned that it wouldnt log any other codes?
