This was posted in the Alfa forum but it's probably of interest to a wider audience.

This Sunday it's the Midlands Italian Car Day at Chatsworth. Not been to one of these before but it's supposed to be a pretty good event. Subject to suitably nice weather, I will be going along in the ASBO Alfa. Hope to see some of you there smile

We will be taking a bit of something to nibble on and a couple of chairs. It looks like it's just a drive in, park up and wander round the cars job.

How organised do we want to be? It would be nice for a little PH group to park together, sit together and picnic together. We could meet up on the way in and convoy/arrive together.

Or just arrive as & when and then go find an open area somewhere to set up a picnic? If the weather is looking suspect, I could find a Gazebo.

Sounds like a great plan...

Who's on wine duty? baking duty?

We could meet at the big new Sainsbury's on the new Matlock A6 by-pass, just pop in and buy stuff for the picnic, nice bread and cheeses, and other munchies, pre-packed deli type stuff, cold cuts etc. Then head onto Chatsworth?

Bring the Bentley Warren, if it rains we could all eat our crusty french bread in there wink. On a more serious note, we will be travelling from Eastwood through Ambergate and down the A6 so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just off out, won't be back on-line until late Saturday night.

Where to meet and at what time?

Sort it out amongst yourselves, I will catch you all later.

MITCar starts at 10.30am. Sainsburys Matlock doesn't open till 11am, so great idea Warren about getting grub but unfortunately scuppered by silly opening times. We will be getting grub on Saturday, want us to get enough for you and the family too? (Sent you a text about this BTW smile)

Meeting up in the Sainsbury's car park is a good idea as everyone should know where it is.

Say 9.45-10.15 am.

Leaving at 10.15 for Chatsworth.

See you there! wavey

Would love to go but the Ferrari isn't taxed and I've not had chance to do it since I got back from holiday.

May have a run down later in the day in the BM if the weather is OK

Will see folks at the car park.

Thanks for the food offer Tracey, got your text just a moment ago (I turned my phone on tongue out), we'll sort ourselves out.

No probs Warren, your post seemed to indicate you were not going to be back till much later.

Look forward to seeing everyone! wavey
