We're off to see "In The Night Garden Live" next week but it's the 1730 show and we'll be getting to Birmingham at about 12ish - Is there enough to keep us and a 2 year old occupied for a few hours there? If not, where can we head to that's near that'll keep us all amused (and fed)?

Cheers

Brindley Place in the town centre has the Sea Life Centre and some places to eat. I've no idea if the Sea Life Centre is any good though sorry.

At Cannon Hill Park there's the Birmingham Nature Centre which can kill a few hours peering at Red Pandas, Ocelots, Owls, Meerkats and the usual petting zoo suspects.

There's also the Midland Arts Centre at the park which has kiddie friendly exhibitions, workshops, performances, aswell as cafes, bars and an arty cinema.

The Park itself is worthy of a nose around and has some weird features and things tucked away in it.

If you don't fancy any of that then Cadbury World is about ten minutes away and is well signposted from the Pershore Road which the Park is on.

Thanks - I'll look in to those - we've moved the show we're seeing to an earlier one, so there's less time to kill now so it's just the post-show part to deal with. smile

If you're free around 15:00 then head for the nature centre.

How many chances do you get to see a real live version of the Firefox logo eating a bunch of grapes?
