Would love to join you on this one, but will be on a weekend in Cornwall.
Watch out for my passenger from today's Pistonheads Sunday Serice at Silverstone (Richard) who will be there in a Morgan Aeromax - somewhat roomier, warmer and comfier than a knackered and mis-firing Caterham ;-)

Would love to but Redditch is quite a distance out of my way,
What route do you take to get there? Maybe meet you at a point along the route?
We head up thru' Bromsgrove, Kiddy & Bridgnorth.... any good to you? What route do you take to get there? Maybe meet you at a point along the route?
And its my friend who will be driving as I'm still yet to pass my test

Im coming from Wolverhampton so Bridgnorth is probably the best place, what time are you normally passing through there?

Usually coming thru' Bridgnorth around 8:10-8:20. If you were to get there for 8:10 and pull up on the entrance to Severn Park (left hand side, just off the island on the Telford Road), as we come thru', you can jump in the line And its my friend who will be driving as I'm still yet to pass my test

P.S - after proudly declaring that I had never curbed an alloy after 19 years of driving - have a guess what I did in the mailbox car park yesterday....
Two alloys now in need of repair (after my run in with the pikey slag who almost took me out).
Took the plunge - have booked the car in tomorrow for all 4 to be refurbished and repainted in a dark smoked anthracite finish. Should combine nicely with the red paintwork - all I will need to do then is sort the shot-blasted front end out - but I will sending an invoice to Sone for that.

What is there to think about? Get your backside up and come out to play, it could be the last one of the year!!P.S - after proudly declaring that I had never curbed an alloy after 19 years of driving - have a guess what I did in the mailbox car park yesterday....

I like the sound of the wheel refurb, where are you having them done?

Thought about a straight matt black finish for the rims - would have looked great if the window and grill trim was also black (nice match to the tailpipes), but after consideration I thought it might make the car look a bit...well....obvious. Despite being 'nob-end red', it still slips under the radar of most people.
Will see the results tomorrow. Guess you are right about sunday, but I have missed my wine and X-factor evenings on a saturday evening lately
Knowing the route up to cosford, I wouldn't really want to lose reaction time after a previous night on the sauce. Is it just you and me at the moment.....? What about 'Token' and Sone? B.J.W said:
Place in Nottingham - lots of good write ups and testimonials. Drop the car off tomorrow, ready by 5pm. Owner is even giving me a lift back to the office in the morning - nice chaos.

Agree with the wheel choice, best colour for your wagon I think.Thought about a straight matt black finish for the rims - would have looked great if the window and grill trim was also black (nice match to the tailpipes), but after consideration I thought it might make the car look a bit...well....obvious. Bloody hell since you've started having these spray tans you've decided to tint everything then including your wheels!!.
