NEC Classic Car Show. 12-14th November

Anyone going? We have had a meet up of some of the Midlands PH'rs the last few years. My Scimitar is due to be on a stand this year so will likely be there all three days.

I'm on the TIPEC stand all 3 days minus car this year, pop by and say hello

Hi All.

I will be there Thursday evening dropping my car off as it will be on the TVR CC stand, and I will be there all day Sunday. Have a good one!!

going by bus and train to avoid crippling car park fees

(pension travel pass, better use it while I can )

I'll be there for set up on Thursday, all day Friday and Sunday as my car is on the TVRCC stand too

Anyway, the reason I popped over to this forum was to enquire about any cleaning facilities at the NEC or local jet washes to give the car the once over before making it all shiny again after the drive. I've just checked the weather forecast for Thursday and its looking miserable.

eta - See you there on Thursday Garreth64 and Lee ? What time are you dropping off your cars ?

I hope to be there for around 4 ish so like you I have time to give the car a once over after the drive down and before I have to go and catch my 3 trains home!! Weather seems to be getting better. Fingers crossed its dry!

IIRC this has been looked into before. There is nothing that close with a jet wash. There are a couple of petrol stations on the A45 next to the NEC but they only have car washers.

Hmm, don't fancy a car wash !!
Maybe a bucket and mit in the boot and a quick wash down outside the NEC.
Here's hoping for dry roads on Thursday !!

I washed mine on the stand when it was on display, just careful with the amount of water used. There'll be a toilet nearby where you can get water - usually have a large cleaners sink just inside the door so easy to get a bucket under.
