Just an idea...

Was just wondering if anyone fancies doing an open endurance race at cannon raceway in Coesley?
I go there quite a lot but I've never done an endurance event there before. It involves teams between 3 and 6 drivers racing over 2 and a half hours smile

Just an idea at the moment but could enter if we get enough people together.

So, anybody fancy it?

I could be up for this dependant on cost. Could someone give me a rough idea?

Also, what karts are they? 4 stroke?

Good to get some interest smile
I'll ring them up over the weekend for a price,
The next one is on the 15th November but I think that's too close, they run every month so the next one after that would be around same date in December
I'm not quite sure because they have just had a new fleet of karts in which I'm yet to have a go in. All I know is they are 270cc from BIZ karts

15th Nov is fine by me... see if they have a slot and I'd be up for it... 15th Dec is too close to Xmas I reckon as I'll no doubt be knee deep in preparations for that; bah humbug

I've rang them up and they have no spaces for the 15th November frown the next one after that is the 21st December
I also found out that the cost is £120 per team so that would be split between the 3 to 6 drivers in the team smile

Anyone up for it then?

Hi Tom,

You are likely to get much more people around Jan/Feb time when xmas is over and people have nothing to look forward to!.

I have arranged a Rolling Road day before and would strongly advise a deposit from each driver to ensure it proceeds.

Just my 2p worth smile

Thanks very much smile

Taking that on board I think I will arrange it for Jan when all the festivities are over.

At cannon you have to pay for it by phone however next time I'm down there I'll see if I could arrange something with them which would mean everyone ringing individually and paying their share of the £120 by phone. So that would mean each person pays £20 if we have 6 drivers, £40 if we only have 3 drivers or somewhere in between the two depending on the amount of drivers smile

Would that be ok with everyone if I got that arranged?

Bump!
Was going to start a new thread but thought may as well carry on the old one!
It's the third Monday of the month so by my calculations that makes it the 20th June. Details of the event are in the original post.
Anybody fancy it? smile

The teams are between 3 and 6 people. It works so the the less people, the more time you have on track but it costs more and the more people the less you pay but you have less track time. When I've done it in the past we have had a team of 4 and it works out at £30 each and a decent amount of track time! Does that sound ok to everyone?

I'd be up for this so long as I'm free, what time would you be looking at having it?

It's a public event so there's about 8 teams from what I can remember
It starts around 6/7 (can't remember the exact time but will find out) and goes on for the duration of the evening

Shall we have one team from the 5 people we have and that way it won't be that costly if someone drops out? If 5 come it will work out at £24 each smile and if there is anymore we could see about having 2 teams maybe!
List so far then:

Yes, how long on track if five people attend?
