Snap on tools in the Birmingham area ?
Discussion
Any one got a contact number for a snap on dealer in the Hall Green/Shirley/solihull area ? have a large storage unit to sell and they used to but second hand ones when i was last in the trade to pass on as upgrades,so need a number to enquire... never seem to see a van around these days
I get my Snap on Tools from the Guy with the local franchise van for Shirley/Solihull area is Kev Lines.
I did not know that they buy back roll cabs to sell on again though?
FYI Genuine Snap On Cabinets always seem to go for more money than they are worth on ebay.
Good luck selling your Snap On Gear.

They used to often have used tool box's on their vans that they had taken in part ex for new ones, then sold the old ones to those that were maybe starting out and needed a cheaper box,was a few years back mind and the policy might have changed now.I did not know that they buy back roll cabs to sell on again though?

I believe the policy still exists, our man sold a box to a pal of mine last year. He also sold a 2 grand roller cabinet to the guy i was working with who already wasn't meeting his bills (to snap-on and/or everyone else he owed).
That's why the boxes are so expensive, the non-payers have to be factored in.

The policy does still exist yes,i spoke to the guy who you mentioned, but they do not buy off people out of the trade, mainly i think as its just a purchase on their side, with no movement of goods the other way in this case......That's why the boxes are so expensive, the non-payers have to be factored in.
