Flaming scooby

Just been driving through Redhill, on the way towards Arnold and followed for a short time, a black subaru Impreza, whilst following him down this hill, a 3/4 foot flame kept shooting out of the exhaust and "licking" his bumper. Looked quite funky but I can't imagine it was overly fuel efficient :P

Anyone on here?

Hes probably got a spark plug screwed into his back box that ignites unburnt fuel on overun.
