What time does everyone usually leave sideways around the roundabout and flying down the dual carriageway? As I always missed it last year!
Due to the police usually standing at the exit the days of thudering off are gone me thinks!. Not sure about time but it won't be late as it's not very warm, I'm guessing 8-8.30 latest.Steve

Great turnout some nice motors, pitty about the police on the gate. Probably neccesary but a shame.
Look forward to the next one.

Good evening out. Some lovely Motors with the white/cream SL being my fave.
Behave!!The Ferrari Replica was outstanding - and at 8k a snip given the attention to detail that had evidently been indulged on the car, during what I would imagine would have been an extensive and lengthy build process.
I could tell that Steve was genuinely shocked when he came over to look at it - I could see that he waa trying very, very hard not to be sick - no doubt due to the fact that only last week he spent almost 10 x as much on a black 430.
If only he'd known.

I knew someone would have to mention the Pontiac, sorry, Ferrari and given you're restricted forum movements, I guess the Midlands area was the best place for you to pipe up The Ferrari Replica was outstanding - and at 8k a snip given the attention to detail that had evidently been indulged on the car, during what I would imagine would have been an extensive and lengthy build process.

I too am actually surprised that Steve didn't go apoplectic when he saw it and pick up the hot-line to Maranello there and then!
I'm normally quite partial to low volume / home built cars and applaud the UK's rule makers for allowing us to do so, but when I see things like the Fiero, it makes a little angry. As for the £8K asking price, well, I think the fits of hysteria from those nearby when the sign was spotted says it all.

I spent most of my time hovering around the atom and the black 430 to introduce myself to you guys, (obviously not knowing what you look like!) and the one time i decided to have a wander 'round I just saw you both leaving! Next time then.. haha
Sorry! To be honest, we don't hang around our own cars much, as we see them every day... instead we prefer to look at everyone elses!!Gassing Station | Midlands | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
