Night out in cardiff
Discussion
Yerp, civilised stag do recently and went a few years back. Cardiff's a great city for a night out, all the pubs fairly close in a pedestrianised area and everyone gets quite dressed up.
Didn't see any sort of Welsh/English hostility- Cardiff is a fairly cosmopolitan city in that regard
Go and have a good time, just don't act like a bunch of
s and you'll get along fine!
There may or may not be strip joints on St. Mary's street with good beer offers

that's ok then! I'm not a loud mouthed youth so no problems there haha! I've managed to get about 30 mates to go and we are all going fancy dress so should be a good crack. Only ever done strip clubs in amsterdam so not sure if they will compare

Should be OK now that the Bluebirds (Cardiff City)are out of the running for promotion. I guess it will be sooner rather than later that you are going (I wouldnt go when there is a home match).
Oh and as there are 30 of you, if one of your mates suggests that it might be a good idea after a few pints to sing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" suggest to him that it wouldn't
Great place for a night out - havent been for a few years but great laugh.
Caroline Street at 2 in the morning, chips and curry sauce in hand/over hand/down shirt/down trousers...marvelous

Bit of a late response, however I am also looking for stag do advice and venturing through the regional forums.
Being Welsh, my advice would be give Cardiff a miss, the decent pubs/clubs are spread over the city, instead book in to Premier Inn, Wind (prenounced wined/wine) Street, City Centre, Swansea. Literally a street about 500m long with bars and clubs both sides, also fast food, clubs, casino, Nandos, TGI's, Cinema, etc etc. Oceana is about a £4 taxi ride or 10 min walk through the centre.
Follow the Post Office Van in the link below link. The Premier Inn is just inside that large arch. The Street looks very different at night as its sealed off, has no cars up there and people walk all over the road etc. Even though the bars look small, most go back a LONG way and are MUCH bigger inside than they look, you will find something for everybody on that street!:
