Hi guys
Am looking for help from the piston heads massive,
Am on holiday in Clovelly in Devon and have broken down cry.
What has happened is a spark plug has obviously worked its self loose and has now stripped the thread completely and melted the coil pack.
Now I know what I need to get done, a heli coil fitted and get a new coil and plug my problem is that I don't know anywhere around here to get the parts and get the heli coil fitted.
Any recommendations would be gratefully received.
ears

Cheers guys

The car is a BMW e36 m3.

First solution is normally ring your breakdown cover, failing that use the internet to find a local garage...

You get breakdown cover with a lot of bank accounts now so you may at least have some cover,

Thanks stretch the breakdown cover I have is for recovery only and I am 280 miles from home.
And I am on holiday for 4 days i really don't want to have to go home on the back of a truck early as we only got here yesterday. and you really need a car down here.
I have had a recommendation for a garage but they are not open at weekends???? Weirdly.
Even if I could get the parts I could do it myself. But I can't find a local motor factors online I could really do with some local knowledge for a motor factors in North Devon.

This appears to be the nearest motor factor - just 10 miles away:
