Anybody got a good local supplier for a delivery of a van or tipper load of seasoned logs? LIkewise I'm after some coal that doesn't require me to be bummed to death in order to afford it...

Thanks in advance!

Haha that might have been useful information... I'm in W-s-M

Have looked at Fountain Timber who charge around £100 for a tipper load of off cuts, or supply something called "dumpy bags" but I've no idea what amount that is. Plus it's all softwood.

Look in yellow pages (or online) for tree surgeons

Most of them spend the summer cutting down trees and the winter selling it as logs for fires
