Nice villages in the Cotswolds

I'm not sure if the Cotswolds even count as being in South West but didn't know where to put this so here goes.

Looking for a pretty little village to visit on the weekend for walks and pub lunchs etc.

Any recommendations?

Surprised know one has said Tetbury.......? Lovely pubs and plenty places to walk.

Broadway has Fish Hill Road from Stow to Burford is great too

Castle Combe can get very busy at weekends, especially if good weather. A colleague stayed there for her birthday last Sunday night. She said the Monday was much nicer walking about as it was so quiet.

Thanks, they all look lovely to be honest. Might give Bibury a go, or castle Combe if I go on Thursday.

Great little museum, nice town but very touristy.

Sherston is a smaller village, great walks beside river and cracking pub The Rattlebone Inn

Isn't Legends near there too? Always worth a look.

Biddestone near Corsham,
Corsham (more of a town)
Marshfield has nice elements.

Biddestone is a good shout. You can easily take in Biddestone and Castle Combe in quick succession, only 5 mins apart. And have a pint in my local!
