Reseting service light audi a3 2001

Anyone know how to reset the service indication on start up?

The car is a Audi A3 1.6 2001.

plug it in go to instrument panel and reset service light

VCDS, applications, SRI reset, read, set desired service reset type, click do it, job done! Easy. PS: I have VCDS, but in Exmouth.

What is vcds? Where can I get it and how much? Any idea if it will work on a 61 plate golf?

VCDS works on all VWs with OBD2, right up to date, and full VCDS is always updated with the latest models. Will definitely do 61 golf.

Its available from quite a few official Ross-Tech dealers in this country. Mine csme from Ilexa in Truro - About £250 - one hit, one cost, lifetime of updates, etc, at no cost.
