Hi all

Went to a football match in Bristol last night. Drove past some signs but not entirely clear to me if i drove actually in the zone because the residential area i parked in wasn't entirely clear/ consistent

So i hopped ontot he website to check my reg and it says "there's a problem with your reg, it may have been on another vehicle". It's a cherished/ private plate, so it very much has....

so... how do i determine if i went into the clean air zone? It's a 2018 Skoda Superb III with the 2.0 TSi petrol engine... so is it even chargeable anyway?

Thanks for that. I parked outside of it, but i certainly drove in it as i drove along the A370 to access the parking, which is the very edge of the zone.

So, is the superb compliant i guess?

Your car is compliant in any event.

Generally diesels after 2015 and petrols made after 2006 are fine

Your car is compliant so you don't need to worry.

As is often the case, it's not always obvious if you've skimmed these clean air zones or been in and back out. The centre of Bristol is more obvious of course but the outskirts are less so.

The one thing about the Bristol CAZ compared to London's ULEZ, is you can pay up to 5 days afterwards where as with ULEZ if you aren't registered with an account or pay in advance, if you mistakenly go in you have no choice but to wait for the fine to come through the letterbox.

2018 petrol though, you're safe. smile

My. relatives have received fine for entering the Bristol CAZ even though their cars are compliant.
In both cases they had put on cherished registrations.
In both cases they used this online form and had the fines cancelled and their cars now show as compliant.

Seems a registration change causes cars to show as non compliant.
