Losing air in a rear tyre and I’ve found a hairline crack on the rim. Never needed a repair like this so looking for recommendations. Thanks

Reinventing the Wheel in Tewkesbury are excellent. They fixed a crack and refurbed a wheel for me last month. Good price, perfect colour match with the other wheels (Alfa have an unusual shade of pearl grey on the wheels)

For years this company have been quoting prices without mentioning that 20% VAT will be added when you collect your wheel(s).

I haven't used them for a while so may gave changed that policy. Suggest you ask if quoted price includes VAT.

They quoted me a price ex VAT but made it clear it was ex VAT. I paid £154 inc VAT for refurb crack repair and slight buckle fixed.

I spoke to Next Wheels and Tyres on Bristol Rd in Gloucester and they repaired the wheel for £90 within an hour. It’s been fine so far. Quite impressed with the service and general good vibes from there. They also do custom exhausts which I’m considering in the future.

Time will tell how long it lasts I guess…
