Breakfast event: Beneath the Bonnet, 4th April, DT2 7LG
Discussion
Good morning,
Over the last few years we’ve run a monthly breakfast meet at the beautiful Athelhampton House. After a short hiatus, we’re bringing it back - this time as a quarterly event called the ‘Beneath the Bonnet’ Breakfast Meet.
Arrivals are welcome from 8:30am, giving everyone a good excuse for an early morning drive before parking up and grabbing a coffee. The kitchen opens from 9:00am with tea, coffee and a range of breakfast options (not just baps!).
It’s a relaxed, informal morning for car enthusiasts to meet up, talk nonsense about cars, admire what’s turned up, and enjoy the surroundings. We’ll also have a small screen in the breakfast room showing a few automotive-themed films in the background.
The name Beneath the Bonnet is also a small nod to the idea that there’s often more going on with people than what’s on the surface. We’ll have a few information cards available from Andy's Man Club alongside details of local support groups - just something there for anyone who might find it useful.
Otherwise, it’s simply about a good drive, good breakfast, and good company.
If you’d like to come along, please drop a comment below with your name and the car you’re bringing, and I’ll add you to the register.
Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces - and some interesting machinery.
